This dishwasher is 8 years old and starts up as if its working ok but no water. Could this be the inlet valve or a sticking float switch? Which is more likely considering water appears to be getting to the machine ie no hose blockage.

Just a word regarding fitting a dimmer to LEDs
A normal dimmer switch may cause flickering etc so its best to ask for a TRAILING EDGE DIMMER and that way you should avoid flickering and such like once you apply power. Maybe you know this already but in case you dont its worth noting...

You can have a coin meter fitted to your electricity supply input so as people don't go mad and run up a huge electricity bill BUT is there a corresponding device which a landlord could fit to control the heating oil??
