i use to work for kestons ,the boiler has a permanent live and a switched live, the fans did suffer alot with over heating and sometimes if they were left off for a bit would not start and burn the relay unit out, if i can be of help please feel free to give me a shout where i will try and help...

i am working on a baxi 80 the fan is going on and off, on the 50 red light flashing showing there is a fan/flue fault,i have changed the air pressure switch to no avail, would it be the venturi, would there be any other reason why the fan is cycling on and off quickly,many thanks heating tech

it amazes me that nearly everytime i go to wire up a new room stat or cylinder stat the someone has run a normale 3 core instead of a 4 core and used the earth wire as a switched live. i put a small bit of insulating tape to warn other all the best gary
