Hello, Ive got a Mira Zest electric shower, when i turn it off it contiues to run for about 30ish seconds. As it has always done this since i moved in im not sure wether this is normal or not. Any advice would be much appreciated. Joseph

Cheers for those links, the reason im interested is the heat problem, ive just got one of those fancy temperature guns. The difference in temp between the insulated roof and around the downlights is around 4-5 degrees and its not even winter yet!!! it could be very cold in winter. brrrrrrr...

Is the joint you are trying to solder totally dry, any moisture will ruin the joint. i know this from personal experience. The heat will also draw moisture / water along the pipe making it difficult even if it looks dry to start with. if not stick with compression fittings. Joseph
