Boiler Noise driving me nuts

Don’t worry guys it wasn’t any of you. It wasn’t Jennings Heating, it wasn’t Heat Treatments and it wasn’t Hot Water Central Heating either

I have had the manufacturer out a few times. The reason I’ve omitted the Make and model, is because people tend to jump to parts or common faults, rather than take a theoretical approach to the problem.


There have been some interesting theories on this post and others that make sense, but none have led to the fix for the issue.


The biggest change to the system was the I went from a 31 kW combi to a 40 Kw boiler. But can over-sizing cause such issues.

No I didn't. I pointed out that a boiler, combi or heat only, may have a bit of turbulance in the flue when burning at the lower end of the range of heat output ( modulated to minimum ).

Hi I’ve been meaning to update you all for a while. The boiler was a KD Navien. The issue was the Honeywell straight auto bypass valve. I’ve now removed this, and the system is now perfect.
 
the noise has disappeared and the hallway rad acts as the bypass. why wouldn't it be without the bypass

He is someone with a chip on his shoulder who has, apparently, done an illegal self install of a gas boiler.

Eternal Heating JEDI has never given ( well i have never seen ) a helpful post so people know the inane shyte he spouts is completely useless and just a fooking troll , he should learn his dark art (jedi ) and make himself disappear
