    Lath and Plaster shower switch

Hi, Fitting a shower switch in a lath and plaster ceiling. I have been informed that the switch is not going to be surface mounted, flush mounting is the only option. I am wondering what the best way to do this is considering the constant pull on the switch? Metal or dry-lining box? Regards.

    Swa mcb

Hi what size mcb is best for 6mm 3 core SWA? It will feed a cu in a shed, I suggested not having a cu but they insist on having one to be able to isolate specific circuits. So what size mcb would be best to protect the run up to the cu? The run will be underground. Thanks.

    2 core SWA join

Have just found an underground 2.5mm SWA join in a 2 way BESA box with 10A chocbloks. I had a resin joint kit in mind like this one http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Cable+Jointing+Kit/p66182 but I'm unsure if this can be used on 2 core as I've only ever seen them on 3 core. Also the cable...

    Pond light

Hi I am re-using an old pond light with 'MR16 12V' written on the side of the light. Does this just require a standard MR16 bulb, does this need connecting to a transformer and the flex colours are white and black which I have never seen before. Many thanks
