I have one of these to look at 25litres apparently no flow of hot water. Has anyone worked on them before?. My first thoughts was maybe the pressure reducing/composite valve is blocked.
On a heat pump install, when installing a magnetic filter. This is in place to protect the condenser on the heat pump. Which is like a plate heat exchanger on a boiler. So the magnetic filter should be installed on the return pipe to the air source heat pump?
Are plug in electric hobs any good? I'd be in a situation where I'd me plug-in the hob in but wouldn't have a spur/rocker switch above on the kitchen tiled area to turn it on. So would be constantly switch on
Is this not a good idea?

Has anyone recharged the internal expansion vessel on this cylinder? I believe it's a case of turning the cold feed to the cylinder off. And opening the lowest tap on the system. Then also operating the pressure relief on the composite valve?

Does anyone who has the water regs qualification. Know if you resit it now it last for life or every 5 years? I did mine with my NVQ level 3 in plumbing and it says it only lasts 5 years. Thanks
I am good at working with copper bending and soldering. However I have never used press fit before on copper. Is it easy enough to get used to/get fast at?
If draining the heating system on an Splan system with a indirect cylinder. If leaving the heating drained over night. Is it ok to turn the immersion on to the cylinder? It won't effect the coil if it's empty of water. Thanks

What can caused a sealed C/H system to constantly keep grabbing air in the upstairs airs? The auto air vent on the boiler sucking air in? Sludge in the system creating air? Anything else. Thanka
