I recently moved house and have misplaced the transformer for my pre lit Christmas tree. I bought a 240V to12V transformer and manually wired the lights to this. They have worked but they are very dim. What is the correct transformer I need?

Yesterday I had a power cut and when the power came back on my 'Honeywell' control panel is not working hence my boiler wont do anything. I have tried turning everything back on and off again but nothing.

I am looking for a replacement for a lighting transformer that has packed in. I am struggling to find a replacement, just wondered if anyone could help. I have attached image of old one

i shall disregard the 5mm. I know it is 2.5mm as i have bought it new. As for the 3mm cable it is slightly bigger than the 2.5mm and when measured the cross diameter is 3mm. Will the 2.5mm be ok joined with the 3mm

the existing wire is 3mm and i have bought 2 new ones 5mm and 2.5 mm

i am moving a socket down the wall and i have bought 5mm wire to do this. When i have opened the original cover the wire is 3mm. Am I ok to join these two together?
