    Drencher too low

My son’s moving into a rented flat that has a mira minimal erd fitted. He’s 6’2” and when stood under the drencher his head touches it. Apart from smashing the tiles to lift the shower valve is there another solution to this ? P.S. there’s at least 4” between the drench pipe and the ceilin. cheers.

    sticking pump

Thanks for the advice (English language also). Agile, i removed the bleed screw and used a screwdriver to turn the impeller and it looked and felt like it span (spun) but obviously it didn't, ive tried all local merchants this morning and none of them carry pump tools so i will try your suggestion.

    Ideal Classic nf spares

Cheers Chris, the reason i was asking is my aunt has BG 3 star cover and they came out the other day and said these parts were faulty and no longer available, They then turned gas off to boiler. Odd thing is they didn't try to sell her a new one. Thanks again.

    so come on be honest

Well i've done it. Corgi reg through company but installed boilers, fires, cookers etc. Mainly for friends and family who just couldn't afford the prices companies like mine charge. Last boiler i did (for mate) i charged £1200 (main 24he & 6 trv's). He had a quote for the same job £2300 to...

    gas rating

3600 x 1040 divided by the time in seconds for one revolution of meter dial. Then divide this by 3412 to give KW gross. When filling in the benchmark and the gas rate is required in metres cubed per hour as opposed to KW how do you convert the KW to metres cubed/hour ?
