Thanks. What about eathing the SWA braid or the 3rd core in the cable? Is there a need to use the braid aswell as using the 3rd core? I would have thought this could cause earthing impedance issues?

Sorry all I'm having a moment.... I'm fitting a MK light switch that has a neon indicator in it but I want the neon to come on when the switch is off (as a switch locator in the dark). As there is no neutral feed in the switch, if the neon is across live in and SW live out will it be on...
