Does it matter whether lining paper is hung horizontally or vertically? For my money, as long as the seams do not line up with the seams of the top paper I would have thought it would be ok.

Thanks everyone, I spotted the other thread after I had posted this. I'm going to use an embossed paper & paint over it, so matching the pattern should not be too much of an issue. I'll post pics when I'm done.
