    yes same here just give them a good hard wipe over with a turpsy cloth before you use them that will take the loose flaky plastic off save it going in your paint :wink:

    if i was you id give the effected area a good rub down dust it off use pollyfiler with a filling knife fill the patchy area where the paint have pealed leave to dry lightly sand down dust it again then spot prime it :wink:

    i wouldnt paint it mate once you have done it once you will have to do it every year if your worried about the patchy colour difference why not self level it all? or skreed it not that i know much about things like that butt you would be much better paying that little bit more and get it done...

    emulsion finish on wood work :shock: thats not a good idea scratch it with a key and see ur result horses for courses emulsion will just wear off and will look **** in time why nt use an egg shell? you'l get the same finish butt better quailty of work and much more hard wearing.

    are you using vinal emulsion? if so the cutting in have dried by the time you rolled and it have flashed id suggest you do it again and eith get ur skates on or get some one to help you sonn as they cut in you roll and make sure you roll tight to the cutting in go over the cutting in as much as...

    go for an oil based dulux or santex providing the surface is dry you can apply the paint and within 15 mins its rain resistant im sure 1 of them got an antifungaside in them aswell iv used both and they are the dogs danglies :wink: you can pressure wash year after year and it will still look...

    what i do is if ur just freshening a property up is buy a drum of white matt and a drum of magnolia leyland make not the best butt is cheap and decent enough to use, im not a lover on gloss its to in ur face i use a oil based eggshell its not flat butt it got a nice sheen to it :wink:
