240v motor

now i bought a 240v ac motor, (not the big ones, i mean the ones fesembling a computer case fan), which is 12cm.
i dont know how powerful it is but cant be much.

now is there an easy way to be able to vary its speed ?

i mean a poetentiometer or something ?

Hi you can't control an AC motor with a potentiometer you have to use an invertor to reduce/ increase the HZ Frequency

The pot idea would only work with a dc motor.
