I am trying to connect a flushpipe on an old low-level loo where the cistern is mounted at 90° to the WC. Previously the connection between the loo and the cistern has contained a section of solvent weld waste (40mm) and what appears to be a couple of compression elbow fittings (one of which is leaking) from an old kitchen sink kit.
Is it possible to connect a 40mm waste compression elbow to a section of flushpipe or are these only designed to work with wastepipe? Thanks for any advice.
