Hello all
I have a Worcester 240 boiler currently supplying 8 radiators and mixer shower and will be building an extension, probably with 5 extra rads and another mixer shower. Will my current boiler cope and if not how do i calculate for a boiler that will ?

YOu don't need a calculator to count the showers. Two from one combi won't go. COnsider making the second one electric.

Either calculate the house hea requirements from scratch, add up the old rads output and add the new requirement, or calculate the volume of the whole place (m cubed) and multiply by 50 to get Watts-ish. If it's tight do the sums propoerly. You boiler will give up to 24kW to the CH with water off, assuming it is set to do so .
