Thinking of swopping my ageing BT Master socket faceplate for one with a built in ADSL filter, something like a ADSLNation XTE-2005, but would like a faceplate with 2 x phone sockets into it, the master socket is right next to my Yale alarm system which has the dial option and my main phone, so would like to keep it neat as possible.

Any ideas about a faceplate for the master socket with 2 x phone sockets on it and built in ADSL filter ?

Hard wiring the alarm panel to the socket will be a pain if the panel goes bad and disrupts phone calls. Using a plug for the panel means you can easily dis-connect if ( when ) it prevents phone conversations.

Some forms of " Lock Up " in a telephone interface module require it to be disconnected from the phone line in order to clear the lock up condition. It may be your panel has that type of telephone interface module.
