Advice - Install UPVC Windows myself?

Hi. If you go to your local council they will give you a price on how much it will cost to get your FENSA certificate, normally it only costs about £30.

Hope this helps!

Hi windowsforce

Your local Council will not issue a FENSA certificate, only FENSA can/will do that. Your LABC who are usually based at the Council offices will issue a compliance certificate for a DIY new window installation if you make a submission & pay the fee. I don’t know the last time you used/checked the charges but it will cost significantly more than £30; local charges vary but it will cost at least £120 & can be considerably more; the charge applies for either a single window or up to 20 windows.
