air lock in a bungalow

Hi

I just swapped a rad for a towel rad in a bungalow for a friend, I had to drain the system to do this.

Now i seem to have a air lock so i need to refill i guess unless any workarounds

all rad pipes drop from ceiling the hot water cylinder is on the ground floor the header tank is in the loft whats the best way to refill?

Backfilling via the drain off above boiler or something

go for that - save a lot of hassle - just watch the feed tank and don`t let it overfill and pour into loft

I drained refilled but was still a air lock so backfilled from drain off above bolier all fine now

hertsdrainage if nothing worthwhile say you might as well keep it stum or you wanting get you post count up
