alarm contact

i have recently had a new door fitted and it has angled edges
i need to fit an alarm contact how ???
i cant see a place for surface contacts and not sure if i can drill the door and frame ?
help needed

i take it its apvc door?

dont even try and fit a flush contact

install a surface conatc on the edge. try with a multimeter first to see exactly where it will work.

i generally don't fit reed contacts to pvc doors - drilling invalidates guarantee.

if required i use a pir directly above the door in the hall as my first zone, then the other hall zone as a walkthrough
