Hi Guys,

I have an Alpha CB50 Boiler and since 2 Days I have water dripping out of it.

I have removed the Lid and nailed the Issue down to this Part:

Basically there is a slow drip from that Black Unit and it looses therefore the pressure over a Certain Time Period.

1st Question
Do I need to replace the whole unit and were if can I get it from ?
2nd Question
If not completely removed is there any fix kit >
3rd Question
Do I need to empty the whole system and how to I dismantle this unit ?

Diverter Valve 3.014018

Gas Spares Preston?
Parts Centre?

Don't know how much.

Isolate boiler flow and return, drain boiler.

Whether whole part needed or can be sealed depends on your skill at plumbing and what the problem is. I would probably get it with a seal or hemp and paste.

Hi Paul

Thanks for your answer.

I also remembered now that the whole issue started with this Part:

starting to make some noise.

Is this a Automatic Flow Regulator ?

The Part I spoke about yesterday is this:

but I assume it is the Diverter Valve as you already agreed.
