Hi. Just moved house and having teething troubles with the heating. We have an Altech ALTHC014 thermostat and, although we seem to have sussed the 5 timer settings, we can't seem to just turn the heating off when it gets too hot, with the result that we have to keep opening the back door in order to breathe. Can we just turn the heating off, if and when we need to, without disturbing the timed settings? Any help gratefully received. Thanks.

The down arrow should reduce the set temperature, pressing the"BL/FROST" button for 3 seconds should set 'stat to frost protection mode (5deg)
