So, had my interview yesterday, along with another guy.

They seemed really pleased with me, especially when they asked me about my extra curricular activities from school and what i've carried on etc. and they also went on to say how I would fit in well with members of their staff due to those activities. They asked me all questions about staying away from home on jobs and what not, and they'd mentioned that I was the only one to mention they'd be content in doing so.

It seemed really relaxed and personally, I think I nailed it (here's hoping anyway haha!).

I had an e-mail come through yesterday, they've offered me the position. Would've heard back alot quicker had vision express not of been fully booked when I was free haha.
Haven't been this pleased in a long long time!
Really excited to get started now. Going to be a good career that's for sure.
Thanks alot for everyone's input! I'll definitely stick around on these forums.

That is fantastic news, Doxa. Well done.
My only advice would be to listen hard, look carefully and learn everything you can.

I was in the same position as you 6 years ago. I opted for plumbing simply because I didn't enjoy doing the little electric circuits in school!
