Hi,
I'm intending to put a core drill through a brick/breeze cavity wall to vent a tumble dryer & I'm concerned that, potentially, there could be pipes, cables, etc; in the cavity.
I seem to recall seeing a mention somewhere of poking a bit of bent, stiff wire through the initial pilot hole & twirling it around but find it hard to imagine how to feed the wire through the pilot when the first couple of inches or so is at right angles.
Can anyone advise or suggest a means of detecting likely hazards? I'd appreciate your help. CP.
