Barmy Labour expect us to plant 200 trees a minute!

Good news....
Chief negotiator barnier says no-deal could happen in March 2020 or December 2020 as things stand.
:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Ryler screams 'we would have got a better deal if no deal had been on the table'

But when asked what better deal the poor chap clams up.

You got nothing have you?
Absolutely nothing......just hollow words.

What worse deal would we have got?

Oh look, yet another thread has descended into Brexit bickering.... :(

that don't make it right.

Its 100 percent right.
The truth is europhile remoaners never wanted us to be negotiating from a position of strength as it would mean a stronger brexit.
Weakening our pm's hand has been at the forefront of the remoaners agenda.

no, the people who wanted to remain didn't want the government to be negotiating a "leave" agreement at all.

Sadly, the Con government was determined to leave whatever the terms and without even knowing what the results would be. Now that's certainly not a "position of strength"

As usual, you are talking nonsense.

Obviously.
Traitirs who refuse to accept a referendum result.

Peter Lilley - Ha - that don't make it right.

Don't make it wrong either, to argue otherwise is stupid and naïve.
Lets put it another way, your friends the EU leaders clearly disagree because they've consistently used the threat of sanctions of one sort or another throughout the negotiations.
How do you feel we should play it?, offer them an even higher settlement if we don't get a fair deal?

I thought that level of debate was confined to the likes of Notch, Galahad and John D, don't bring yourself down to their level EFL, you're better than that.

Thank you for that link.

Unfortunately it contains the same basic narrative as pushed by the Tory party.....which is not surprising given that the article was written by one.

I cant be bothered to extract every error but heres a few pointers:

no deal means not paying £39b.........Wrong.

Next: "In business, negotiations must leave the option of walking away from the deal". :)
Flawed logic because in a business deal if you walk away, you return to where you started.
With a no deal option on table, the UK would NOT return to where it started.....no deal puts UK in a place of diminished power.

All no deal has ever been is a blackmail tactic to put pressure on MPs to vote for a deal.

Ryler and other brexiteers like to blame remainers. They have to blame somebody as they cant admit brexit negotiations have been an abject failure because brexit is not deliverable, its just empty promises sold by snake oil salesmen.

Wrong.
It was pushed through in order to weaken our negotiating power and ensure we get a soft brexit or no brexit at all.
