Hello everyone new to the site so got a few questions.

In the bathroom we want to hide the water pipes, now ive heard people talk about using plastic trunking, what type of trunking would do the trick and does it have to be heat resistant etc? might sound like a silly question but just making sure. thanks in advance

That is different question to the one originally asked!
Copper pipes buried in walls require protection from limestone and also they need allowances for expansion and contraction.
Trunking is not ideal as normally too bulky. Coated pipe, denso tape, installed in conduit with sealed ends are some options.
But also beware that part A of building controls, has maximum depths that chases in walls can be made.
No greater than 1/6th of walls leaf on the horizontal and 1/3rd on the vertical.

if you put them in the corner of the room, and box them in or use trunking, you can decorate it to match the walls and it will not look obstrusive.

A removable trunking cap can be useful when repairs or akterations are needed.

yeh sorry i know it is just thinking different ideas,is see your points, might go down the route of sticking them under the floor with no joints then a tiny wee box next to the sink
