i have a baxi combi 105 e
stopped working and fault light is changing from fan fault to ignition fault etc .it does run the pump when i re set but the pc board makes a loud clicking noise for approx 25 seconds then boiler returns to fault lights lit.
i have checked with an electrician screwdriver to see if there is live to the fan and it is not showing a live at the fan live connection when power is on to the boiler.
i am not sure if its the pc board or flue fan can you assist me please???

Probably more likely to be the PCB but I would be doing other tests if I was diagnosing the fault!

could i carry out the test myself or would this be a corgi guy/service engineer?

Is there a burnt smell from p.c.b,poss fan relay meltdown on board. :(

no smell!!just a loud noise coming from the pc board area.
should there be power through to the fan if the pc board was ok?or does the power come via the pc board for the flue fan?
what is the approx cost for a pc board? and for a new fan?
does any one know good place to get one at good price?
thank's
