got a small problem with the above bolier, had no hot water since wed, nothing would happen with preheat or tap open. after removing microswitch and refitting it the boiler would fire up on pre heat then go off on temp at 70cn but water from the taps is luke warm, if the tap is turned on the boiler doesnt fire up. it only fires if the preheat is on.

any ideas?

yeah I know, I studied as a heating engineer but a lot has changed since then, I will not be touching the gas side of things its the electrical side were the problem lies
