Hi,

Ive just installed the above dishwasher, it is second hand and has been stood unused for quite some considerable time, the dishwasher fills, and heats the water, but does not much from this point, it sits silently for approx 10 minutes, then it drains and refills, occasionally it will start making what can only be described as a thumping sound, the rotor arms do not spin whatever is making the thumping sound its in the bottom of the dishwasher and I can see the bottom of the dishwasher flexing slightly, a wild guess would be the motor is seized and the thumping is it trying to start but unable too any ideas

Yep circulation pump seized or jammed.
