Black pen ink bleeding through emulsion??

Hi- Black ink stains on emulsion walls - what can you apply to stop it bleeding through emulsion paint - thanks

paint it with a bit of gloss first, let it dry and paint over with emulsion.

you can use any oil based paint.

Probably better with undercoat as the emulsion will not take properly on gloss and will probably show a patch where the gloss was.

I used gloss then noted the reply saying use undercoat ....... I will sandpaper the gloss to knock the shine off it and then cover with emulsion - that should do it ...... he hopes !!!!
