I was in the shower the other night when half way through, the water went freezing and the light went out on the pull switch. I wrapped a towel on me and with the help of a few candles, changed the 45amp fuse but the shower was still off After about 40 minutes of turning the electricity on and off whilst I changed other fuses in the dark I couldnt get it to work. In the hope that my new 45amp fuse had been a dud I tied my sopping wet hair up and drove to B+Q. I bought another fuse but when I got home the new one wouldnt work either. As a last try I changed the 30amp fuse and lo and behold the shower worked whoop whoop equalling one very happy Heather!
Anyhoo, my question is, is there any chance that my fairy lights might have blew my shower?!?!
The only extra thing that I have in my house over the past couple of days is a set of flashing fairy lights that ive wound up my staircase but are plugged in, in my living room downstairs and my shower is in the bathroom upstairs. I just want to check as I havnt dare turn them on since my shower blew. Im hoping this was the reason as I dont want to have a serious problem with my shower as I only changed the fuse about a year ago.
Any advice would be great thanks,
Heather
