There are two parts to the Bermuda: the fire front and the back boiler. Can you give the GC number of each part - if you can find them? You may have to lie on you stomach with a torch!

The G.C. no. for a 401 is 44 077 49. Not too sure about the fire but it will be 37 077 somethingorother. Not exactly sure when the 401 ceased production, but the one I just removed was fitted in 1979! Nothing wrong with it either.

No, it's not the age.

According to Sedbuk, the 401 was manufactured between 1977 and 1995. So you have definitely missed out on the 15 years limit.
