Boiler Pressure

I have a Caffoteaux and Maury MX2 boiler.

The boiler pressure fluctuates from 1 bar when cold to 2.5 bar when the heating is on.

Is this fluctuation normal?

yes water expands when it gets hot

You have a really serious problem if you have a chaff and its WORKING then something is wrong

Read the FAQ on expansion vessels....the pre-charge pressure is low.
