Boiler won't fire up - help , or it's cold showers for me!

I have a Potterton Puma 80e that won't fire up.

When I set the boiler to be on, or turn on a hot water tap, the pump starts whirring, there is a fan noise and i can hear a sparking sound (although can't seem to see any sparks through the window), but the pilot light doesn't ignite and about 10 secs later, the lockout LED comes on. If I press the reset switch the same happens.

So I'm enjoying the beauty of cold showers at the moment!

Any ideas?

First off make sure the gas supply is on and the pressure on the gauge is at about 1 bar.

The supply is on, and the pressure is around 1 bar.
