I have a Boilermate2 which is working OK. It sometimes produces a 'relay chatter' type sound. The frequency reduces if I turn the room thermostat low.
One other thing I found was that if I increase the temperature of the Potterton gas boiler, the chatter goes away completely.
I was about to replace the pump/driver cards thinking it is a problem with capacitors on the electronics card. But now that the relay chatter is gone away I don't know whether there is an issue or not.
Does the relay chatter happen when it is really cold? or when the gas boiler temperature is around the middle?
In otherwords, can I just rest confidently or do I need to do something about it?
