I have the washing machine above - and the on/off switch has suddenly stopped working correctly. I have to wedge the switch on with some cardboard. I've had a look an it seems the fascia is a sealed unit. Any suggestions on how I could go about fixing the problem? Thanks.

You need to remove the lid and then access to on/off switch is from behind. Easy to swap for new one just clicks into place.

Its not the button but the whole switch that needs removing.Look at the switch from inside and you see a small plastic tab at the top of it all you do is prise that away from the metal and slide the switch upwards.
