Hi,
I am working on a 1920’s property where a conifer tree has been panted about half a meter from the front window (between front window and front door). I’m guessing it’s about 20 years old (4 m high) and will be cut down as it’s blocking all light.

I believe the roots have caused the front wall between the front door and window to bow out about 30mm around half way up the wall over around 5 courses. The soft mortar has absorbed the movement. Can I just repoint the wall or would rebuilding be required? There are minor cracks on the inside (cavity wall).

Just re-point for the time being.
There may be further movement of the ground once the tree is removed, which may cause more cracking in the near term. Once the ground has settled down, consider then what to do.
