The images of the birds and animals affected are pretty awful....lets hope something gets resolved and they learn from this.

This would have been sorted quicker if the yanks had called all hands to the pump from all World Wide sources and sort out who pays later ,instead of playing the blame game from the start.

BRITISH Petrolium is owned 40% UK, and 39% US...so they moan? If they owned it equal, then the British part is removed, which removes the brand, as you are not allowed to call yourself 'British', if owned by a foreign company.

So the US is talking out it's ass. The oil being drilled is for THEIR use, in their gas guzzling cars, but we pay the price, with expensive fuel, but the US get cheap fuel.

The rig didn't belong to BP, but a US company, the faulty safety valve was manufactured by a US company. The workers killed were US citizens.

BP doesn't stand for anything. It's just a name now. It isn't British Petroleum.
