Has anyone fitted a Buderus low voltage sensor (fitted to modulink board) to a cylinder in the normal two thirds position and then found they had to set the DHW temp on the boiler to 40 to keep the water from getting to hot.

If anyone has and can remember how they did it? Or is the sensor meant to attach to the feed or return pipes near to the boiler.

It was supplied with a short lead and being a sparky I persuaded my plumber (who had not used buderus before) to fit that system rather than conventional programmer and stats.

Any help greatly appreciated, Mark.
