I am new to this forum so please be kind, I am doing a self build and I have read this forum with interest/dismay.
I was hoping to get a definitive answer as to what type of condensing combi to use, but I am more confused than ever over reliability issues.
Please correct me if I am wrong but the general opinion seems to be that it will be some time before the problems/reliability issues are resolved, bearing this in mind would it be sensible to go for a relatively cheap boiler that would last say 3-5 years and then replace it with a later generation model that has had the bugs sorted out ?????
I am also having problems finding a plumber / heating engineer to do the job [North Yorkshire] any suggestions ???

Look for the boilers that are not always in the forums problem pages.

As you probably already worked out some makes and models are featured more then others, read into that how you like.

Good boilers; Viessmann for example, expensive when compaired to the sheds, but as they say get what you pay for.
