just fitted an s plan system to a baxi 105e combie boiler, everything works very well....................except!

The baxi has a pump overrun, this works fine with the new system. however I am concerned that due to both c/h & h/w valves turning off when system is idle, unnecessarily hot water may accumulate in the boiler itself. I believe that the overrun facility is there to allow the boiler to cool down by circulating the systems water after the heat has been turned off (ie gas supply cut)

am i worrying too much or could there be a problem?

Yes there could be a problem. Have you fitted a differential pressure bypass valve? If not you need one (so do the building regs).

105e is fitted with an integral automatic bypass valve.
