I have a Bristan thermostatic shower which is 2 years old and the thermostatic part has gone on it already - I now need to buy a new valve, can anyone recommend a reliable make

I always fit Mira on the odd occasions I have to fit a shower.

Never had any call backs yet ;)

I find the hans grohe the best, unless you have gravity system.
Also, both grohe and hans grohe keep replacement cartridges for at least 15 years after they stop making them.

Bristan are often very good about warranty claims, have you rung their customer helpline?

We fit Aqualisa shower components, made local to us in Westerham, Kent.
