cavities closed at apex.....insulate or not?

Hi all,
we live in a 1927 semi and are thinking of having CWI.
Would this be a good idea since the cavity is closed with a row of bricks at the apex of the roof-line?

No sorry, I misunderstood the question - I thought you asked whether to close the cavity or not. :oops: :rolleyes:

Yes, it is worth insualting the cavity as this will be a better insulator than air.

just a neighbour said he wasn't having CWI because of the cavity being closed :confused:
