Hello, I am looking for some advice regarding my upstairs lighting!! We have spotlights in both bedrooms, and normal light in passage. At the beginning of April we had our loft boarded out, for the first time last week our lights weren't working, the trip switch had tripped on the fuse box, this happened again last night. Can this be connected to the loft getting boarded out, although the problem didn't occur straight after loft work was done?, if so, how can we possibly locate the problem with spotlights!?
The problem was solved once trip switch had been flicked but obviously eager to sort it!!!
Appreciate any help!!
Thank you.

Did a lamp or lamps blow at the same time as the trip going?
Sounds unlikely to be due to loft boarding unless u can tie the trip down to co-inciding with some activity up in the loft (big squirrell?)

Sounds like a trapped cable somewhere thats causing a fault check all cables that are in the loft.
