Hi,

I'll try to explain this with my minimal knowledge. We have moved house. Our old house had a combi-boiler with a really good programmable thermostat, that would allow you to program different temps during the day as well as a holiday setting e.t.c.

Our new house has a boiler and cylinder set-up with a programmable timer in the same room as the boiler (utility room) and the thermoelastic in the hallway. The programmer is quite an old one, and I would like to change it for a newer one that has maybe, 6 ON/OFF's/24hr, similar to the one we had before. But, the one we had before was a combined thermostat/programmer unit.

Can anyone recommend a programmer that could allow an input from a temperature sensor? Which I could use in place of the current thermostat (if this is at all possible??) The programmer is located in the utility room, which would not be great for determining the temp of the house! Any advice would be gratefully received,

Thanks!

Suggest - Wireless programmable thermostat. Honeywell seem to have a good reputation.
