Hopefully this is the right place, it seemed the best part of the forum to put it in.

Just had a new ceramic sink, delivered, It says some cracking is to be expected, but there seems to be an excessive crack between the drainage board and the 0.5 sink, running near on the width of the sink.

the pictures below try to show it.

Is this acceptable cracking??? or would you get it changed? is it likely to crack some more?

Send it back. Who said some cracking is to be expected? Complete blox!

Package it back and call them first thing on monday. Sanitaryware is notorious for damage in transit and I can't think of many customers that would accept a sink with a big crack in it like that!

Brilliant thanks all, I was thinking the same, but just wondered if i was being a bit to picky.

Thanks
