Chaffoteaux boiler

Can any body help? I have a Chaffoteaux Sterling PP boiler in my caravan And on demand for hot water the buner comes in an 8/9 secs it goes down 2/3 secs it opens up again consequently showering becomes a bit of a problem. Any ideas?

Also the pressure rises in the hot water system albeit I don't use it. I do know it isn't passing on the fill up loop

You don't say if the boiler goes to high flame or not.This fault can be a number of things and will require the services of a competent RGI.Combustion front cover will require removal at some stage.

Gasman 45years, thanks for your response. I have had 2 Rgi's look at so far one suggested I buy a new boiler because he thought it might be better, the other thought it could be either the expansion tank, the flow switch or the pcb, but can't be diffinitive. I just feel a bit uneasy if I'm going to part with the thick end of £400, thats the reason I'm looking for advise so I am able to ask sensible questions. Anyway thanks again' I guess I am on my third Rgi tomorrow
