Hi all... sorry if this is a very simple question, but can anyone advise me how to change the light bulb in an outdoor post light?
I've tried a couple of different options (twisting the fitting and just forcing out the plastic globe) but neither of these seem to work.
Please see photos attached of the fitting.
Any help much appreciated.

I would guess that the entire plastic globe would unscrew and all the metalwork would remain in place.

Yes, I have some a bit like that, and the globe has a moulded neck at the bottom, like a jam-jar, with a coarse thread, which screws into a collar in the base.

If not moved for a long time the thread may be stuck with dirt and corrosion, but, being plastic, it will not seize.

Edit
Too slow!

Thank you, appreciate it
