Cooker Hood

Has anyone got any info diagrams sites idea"s etc on installing a cooker extraction hood through a pitched tiled roof,as regards to weathering and type of "terminal".
Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thankyou

I have seen it done using soil waste pipe with the a tile weathering shroud and a vent terminal cowl ontop appears to work a treat.
The flexi tubing easily connects to the pip with cacble ties or a large jubilee clip.

Thanks Pete, when you say a "vent" cowl could a gas cowl be used ie; a five inch tin terminal,you see my main concern is rain ingress via the terminal.

I guess so, there are plastic caps which keep the rain out too.

You may need to consider condensation from steam meeting cold pipes as much as rain entering.
