Cooker Plug/Switch

Thanks for all the help, i'll pick up some grommets today and make sure i put them on the double sockets i changed too. you'd think if these grommets were essential they would be supplied with the back box.

I'll let you know how i get on.

but if you were installing using MICC cable or using conduit then you wouldn't need them..

they also have no idea how many holes you need to knock out, so they'd have to provide one for every hole....

much easier to assume that someone who's putting backboxes in would have a vague idea of the electrical regs?
 
:D :D :D ALL DONE !!!! :D :D :D

Managed to get the cooker socket changed over, not tiled yet but its starting to look great. I used the grommits, and earthing cable and everything seems to be working fine.
