I am currenlty decorating my bedroom though when we went to put on the second coat of paint, noticed we have a thin crack in the new paintwork about six inches long. A second coat of paint has not helped.
Any suggestions? The rest of the wall is fine.
Thanks

This pic does not show it very well as it is very pale paint.

The wall has been newly skimmed however tapping on this part of the wall it seems hollow unlike the rest of the wall.

If the skim seems to be hollow when tapped indicates that the plaster skim has blown, you at this time should seek advice on the plastering & rendering forum. Offer your advice in detail and they will guide you in the right direction, We could on here offer a cure to your problem yet this may only be of a temporary nature.
