The terminal block within the hob has four connections the first three of which appear to be connected by two two pronged connectors which are located in the same holes that accept the cable. although these connectors are flat it makes it very difficult if not impossible to fit 10mm cable into terminal number two as the diagram suggests. As terminal 1 and 3 have only one prong of these connectors each instead of the two that number 2 has the cable will just about fit. My question is whether it is safe to use terminal 1 or 3 for the live wire as all 3 are connected anyway. When I disconnected my old cooker this is how that seems to have been connected. Any help would be appreciated.
